Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your local guide with a traditional khadar (white scarf), symbolizing peace and welcome. After a smooth transfer to your hotel, take some time to rest and acclimatize to the fresh Himalayan air. Continue to Kurje Lhakhang, where Guru Rinpoche is said to have meditated, leaving his body imprint on a rock inside the temple.
Next, explore Tamshing Lhakhang, renowned for its ancient murals and iron chain mail believed to have been worn by the temple’s founder, Terton Pema Lingpa. Enjoy a gentle village walk through traditional farmhouses and peaceful countryside, soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of the valley.

Today is the highlight of your Bhutan journey — a memorable hike to the legendary Taktsang Monastery, famously known as Tiger’s Nest. After an early breakfast, begin the uphill trek through pine forests scented with juniper and fluttering prayer flags. The 2–3 hour hike rewards you with breathtaking views of the monastery clinging dramatically to a cliff face, 900 meters above the Paro Valley.
